So if you haven’t seen what has been happening lately Google has been showing its dominance lately on the Internet by shutting down peoples Adsense accounts and also doing numerous updates to their search engine algorithms that affect many websites. So why does this matter to the average person creating a website? Well this matters significantly because if you want to generate revenue to your website through Adsense and have your website rank and continue to rank highly in Google you need to select the correct path for your website. You need to know the dos and don’ts of creating a website. Should you create a large authority site or creating a bunch of mini niche websites. For example owning only one website or owning hundreds of websites. Obviously owning one website is a lot easier but if anything was to happen to that one website you’d lose all your income. You could do micro niche websites with only one page. Or you could go with a niche website that has on average 5 to 10 pages of content. First of which do you think is better? Also the keyword you would be targeting with have very little competition for ranking (not to be confused with advertiser competition which is good and you want). The positives about these types of websites is that they are easy to rank normally. You can if you are good get to the first page of Google in 2 – 4 weeks. The bad news about these websites is that they get very little traffic. So you HAVE to make the clicks count. The even worse news is what Google might do to your site if it gets caught in one of their search engine algorithms. The site can go from page 1 to 500+ in ONE day. The other bad news about micro niche websites is that if you own a ton of them and Google finds them and doesn’t like the quality of them you run the risk of losing your Google Adsense account. And you definitely don’t want that if that is one of your main sources of revenue. PROS: So the benefits is that they are cheap to create these sites, they rank quickly, and you can start making decent money. CONS: You can get [...]
