So if you haven’t noticed lately I haven’t been posting a lot on this blog and there is a reason for this. I’ve been making money with my niche websites! I’ve been spending all my efforts learning the tricks of the trade and implementing it by building a large group of niche websites. With my new found knowledge and the purchase of the software LongTail Pro I’ve been very successful in building niche websites in the past couple weeks. I’ve gotten building niche websites almost down to an art now with my process I’ve learnt over time. There are many different things you need to take into consideration when building niche websites in a quick process: You need to make sure the websites you build have quality content on them You need to make sure you follow all of Googles rules – if you plan on putting Adsense on the site (including Privacy Policies, Content policies, etc) You need to make a site design that will attract your viewers (this isn’t crucial to start but you need a design that will work nicely with Adsense ads) You need to have a way to create high quality content quickly You need a way to upload your websites quickly and update them quickly (this is where ManageWP and WordPress come in handy) You need to know how to link build You need to have some knowledge of SEO You need to be good at keyword research (most important point when creating niche websites) Keyword Research Building a niche website starts 100% from your keyword research. If you do this step wrong all the rest will fail. If you don’t target the right keyword that has just the right number of advertising competition, enough local searches per month, the right competition (with other sites), and the right cost per click you’ll website is doomed to fall. That is why after research for months I came to the conclusion that I needed to purchase Long Tail Pro. This is a keyword research tool that takes all the guess work out of the equation. Before using this tool I had to go through a process of spending at least 3 to 4 hours to remotely come close to finding a keyword that might work for a niche site. When using this website I can find at least 5 to 10 different niche site ideas in an hour! It amazing because it does all the hardwork for you. It will find keywords with exactly so many searches per month, within a range of CPC, and it will do the competition research as well.
